indicators, other than census data, to determine the real
spending power of urban communities.
The retail purchasing power for Mt. Pleasant is above
average, according to the Key Bank study.
Heritage Corridor is a unique economic development concept being discussed that envisions Mt. Pleasant as a destination area for shopping, dining and learning about historically and traditionally significant arts and cultural activities.
